What is Mindfulness?The quality or state of being conscious & aware
Mindfulness is training the mind in a state of awareness. Stepping back to consciously observe thoughts, emotions and noticing the patterns of the mind, enabling participants to step out of auto-pilot and appreciate and acknowledge the present moment.
Mindfulness can be practiced by anyone who wants to understand the workings of the mind, think of it as brain training; the same way we can work our physical bodies through exercise, we can also exercise and strengthen our minds. Allowing us to have more clarity, more focus and to consciously chose the life we wish to create.
What kind of Mindfulness do we offer?
Our courses and classes are based on MBCT or Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. This is based on the work of John Kabat-Zinn, Zindel Segal, Mark Williams & John Teasdale.
Classes include formal meditations, i.e a body scan meditation and informal home practices such as paying attention to routine activities in the present moment.
We offer a full 8 week course, 2hrs per week + home practices as well as introductory and one off sessions for conferences, meetings and seminars.
Oh & P.S there's no need to wear white or even to sit on the floor.
How can Mindfulness enhance your wellbeing?
Mindfulness has been proven to reduce stress, relieve pain and prevent relapse of depression. It helps us to create new neural pathways in the present moment and step out of habitual, negative and restrictive ways of thinking. This can allow is to get out of the trap of re-living past traumas and reduce anxious thoughts involves with pre-living future events.

Corporate Courses - (Limited to 15 people)
8 weeks (2hrs per week) - £1,500
Group Courses - (Limited to 10 people)
8 weeks (2hrs per week) - £222 per person concession rates available
